This course explores the dynamics of the relationship between your office, elected officials, and the news media, the symbiotic relationship that keeps power in check and the public informed. The course covers practical matters such as do's and don'ts for dealing with the media, but also explores ways auditors and managers can use their relationships with reporters and elected officials (policy-makers) to promote good, effectual government.
