The EGAPP, Inc. audit skills curriculum is divided into two main categories: foundation audit skills and advanced audit skills.

Foundation audit skills courses focus on elements of the audit process which are applicable regardless of the type of audit, the audit environment, or the level of the auditor performing the work.

Advanced audit skills courses go beyond the basics to provide in-depth training on specific technical aspects of the audit process. These classes cover a broad range of subjects such as the reliability of computer generated data, emerging issues in government auditing and review for the CGAP examination.
